AN ONLINE SHOWCASE OF ARTWORK MADE IN LOCKDOWN
This wide array of work was made by young artists in Leicestershire. Through weekly online workshops with artist James Chantry and independent practice, the artists embraced the concept of being creative with minimal materials. At home and on their limited excursions outside, they captured the world around them in unique and insightful ways, with only: paper, a pencil, a smartphone, household and found objects.
The artists are mainly participants that attend groups at the following charities:
After 18, young asylum seekers and refugees.
